“Our love for God is measured by our everyday fellowship with others and the love it displays.”

–Andrew Murray

“Do not be ashamed of help.”

–Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

In our rootless and fractured culture, we find deep delight in the wholeness that deep roots give. Our worship and life together as a community centers around what Christians have spoken, sung and celebrated together for thousands of years. We embrace the historic Christian faith as expressed in the ancient creeds of the universal church (the Apostles’ and Nicene creeds). As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America, we also trace our roots through the Reformed Protestant tradition. The Westminster Confession of Faith and the Heidelberg Catechism are helpful summaries of these beliefs. Our membership in the PCA gives us regional accountability and support, as well as partnership in mission both at home and abroad. Our regional ties connect us with the Northern New England Presbytery, which includes churches in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
