The Greek word for hospitality as used in the New Testament means the love of strangers. Our culture associates the concept of hospitality with entertaining our friends, but Christ calls us to give of ourselves in order to bless, benefit, and love strangers–in fact, to receive them as we would our own family.

At Redeemer Burlington, we seek to fervently love and serve sojourners, travelers, strangers, and neighbors just as Christ loves and serves us. Jesus graciously makes room for us at His table, and so we joyfully make room for others. Our hospitality team is responsible for making guests and members of the church feel welcome and at home on Sundays as well as helping to facilitate deeper connections and lasting friendships. If you’d like to be part of our hospitality team, please let us know- all are welcome. Contact us at info@redeemerburlington.org.
